An public apology TOO Milo and everyone on the forum

I just want to make a public apology TOO Milo for misinterpreting his post he made about the whisker biscuit arrow rest and his pie plate shooter comments..Whether his intention was how I took it or not..I was slightly out of line to respond the way I did...I quite possibly ruined what could have been a very informative thread from beginning to end..This is not TOO say I agreed with all or most of Milo's info..This apology is simply saying I am sorry for saying what I said in the manner I typed it..I do not want Milo or anyone TOO feel they have TOO worry about how they post because I might respond in a negative manner.I also dont want ppl to ignore or not want to comment on threads I may have posted.. I feel I am fairly knowledge in gear an equipment.I am not a tuning guru(though I am striving to be)..An I dont have any trophy's..As many of you know I am battling a issue in my bow arm while having a touch of target panic..I will be honest I am slightly depressed at times an pissed off at the thought of hunting any or all of this season with a crossbow( not that there is anything wrong with crossbows at all!!)..I want no pity and just to apologize an say my peace
That is all
Thanks to Joe an Jesse an all the guys for keeping the forum great an keeping me inline. An sorry to Cotty again for bringing my bullshit onto his thread...
I hope to remain here for as long as the forum remains

Sincerely
Nicholas Lilly

It says allot about someones character TOO stand up in public and say they stepped out of bounds and are sorry for it. I personally didn't get to read the thread that is mentioned so therefore have no judgment either way.

Thank you Nicholas

nick, a few things i have realized in my relatively short life is it is easy to be an mean, pessimistic and down right rude and it is even easier to do it from behind a keyboard. I do appreciate the fact that you disagree with me because somewhere between to differing opinions lies the truth. I have been wrong before and manned up and been better for it. i am not sure what set you off but i have been in your shoes before with the frustration issue. Life in not about being right, life is about the journey between the begining and the end. Archery is very similar. i guess thats why i love them both so much. I see you are Fairly political oriented and hope you can see yourself first hand what polarization does to people and a nation. I will go out on a limb here and say there is plenty of that to go around and somewhere you need a shelter from that storm... Hopefully you can find some peace with yourself and others here. Somewhere it needs to start for everyone. I was in that pit and watched many fall prey to the easy evils of negativity and disenchantment with differing ideas. Let me offer you some advice, when you find yourself posting something negative walk away until you find a positive. I am a firm believer that there is always a silver lining in a bad situation. God is not here to punish us. He has a reason whatever it may be he will expose it to us when he/we are ready. I will send you a pm if my router holds up tonight to help you with your elbow. take it for what its worth.

I think what set me off in MY mind..What I was making a connection to was a whisker biscuit an pie plate shooter.Which a pie plate shooter to me a is guy that pulls the bow out a week or two before season flings a few an is good to go(in his mind) etc etc..Everyone knows what I mean!!!..An since I currently shoot a WB I felt it was directed at me.I am not one of those shooter(if your are thats fine) I shoot as much as possible I even try an squeeze in some arrows on days I plan to hunt(if i can)..It is for me like is it for some of you not a passion but a OBSESSION.It is also a way for me an my son to spend time with out little bro an sis an mommy there ..I have shot plenty good groups with a WB an know others that have to...I have tried a couple decent drop away rest.An my issue's are partly mental an other parts not mental.. I tried Trophy taker shaky hunter..Great rest!!,seemed to be built like a tank my issue???No containment...My other try was QAD ultra rest... I liked it cause it had the containment I wanted an I could lock it up pre-draw.. My issue???Honestly the construction an plastic parts inside worried me about failure( no offense) ..So back to the WB I went..I still sit an think about a Ripcord(metal internals) or a NAP Apache..But with my current shooting issues I am not buying any gear until I am healed some an can shoot again

Hat's off to you OMO. Takes a big man to step up and publicly apologize. Thanks for clearing the air. People disagree. Part of life. No big deal. Nobody is going to bash you for disagreeing with Milo. Trashing a good thread can irritate people though. Thanks for apologizing for it. Just hate to see this place go to the dogs like other sites have done.

It's real easy sometimes to take the written word the wrong way. I applaud you for coming out and apologizing to everyone. No hard feelings here.

Nicholas, we all make mistakes.... Everyone on this board has at one time or another read something into a post that wasn't there..... The differance from this place and other forums is we like too think we're bigger than that and man up and say that we're sorry for getting bent out of shape about some post or another.... For the ones who won't/don't well they can go back from whence they came.... Kuddos for manning up and taking responsability for your actions.....

I agree. We may have bumps in the road once in a while. But we'll never point her towards the cliff and floor it.

I think Nicholas realizes this. I think he chatted with several of us about it and realized this place is for real. He knows we aren't going anywhere and this is THE PLACE TO BE! On other sites this might be the norm, but around here we nip it in the bud early so it does not become the norm. Thanks again for your apology Nicholas! No hard feelings when you chat about things like a man and take care of them.
