First sit this evening. Had a nice young 8 at 20 yards. He was hanging with doe. They stood by me for quite awhile and he kept licking her ear. I just kept thinking, “that’s my move!”

This particular popup w/ a 180 degree unobstructed view w/ 2 shooting lanes is right along the edge of the thicket where deer walk right by at any given angle is why ....

I need more cover. Just not many large trees to choose from. This one is in the ideal spot but faced the wrong way. Might try to slide it around a little. It’s 21’ up but doesn’t look like it in the cell cam pic.

Another little buck came through. Jumped a bunch in the dark by the house. Really cool being able to eat dinner 15 minutes after climbing down.
