Four antlerless with a young buck trailing them and grunting, out of bow range. I watched the buck @7:45 a.m. bump two antlerless out of thier beds, just SE of me within bow range, but obstructed. He pushed them into the field just South, which is in the photo above. Two anterless went back into the woods on the other side of the field, while the buck pushed the other two that were already in the field, across the road and into the cut cornfield. He followed those two.

Nice and cool this morning with a stiff NW breeze. Had no issues getting in early with the wet ground and all.

I’m in wind is blowing like crazy tree is swaying and haven’t seen the first deer yet was hoping it would die off trail cameras were lighting up all night and till about 630 this morn

I hit one high yesterday due to misjudging yardage and I’m in a deep depression. Had a dog come out who never hit. Had decent blood in a spot where he stopped then nothing more. Made mistakes before and after the shot that could have prevented this. Hoping he lived. Walked 4.6 miles yesterday. Doing some more today.
