Passed on the sailboat. I didn't know it was one of the big giant ones with the matching sail under it! Bottom of the boat was almost 8' off the ground. NOPE! Not today, lol.

What’s you guy’s take on “rut” and the heat wave coming?
The rut does not stop for heat. Does come in heat whenever they are supposed to. Warm weather will hender normal deer movement. On more than one occasion out my front window I've watched a buck and hot doe lay down in the morning and not move more than 50yrds all day, and still be laying there until to Dark to see. Still be rut stuff going though.

Hopefully it came back on pretty quick Jim, she got chilly last night. First accumulation of the year yesterday 🤟
Power just came back on. Now to collect the power cords X 2 cause I have a second generator running at dear ol Mom;s too.

No snow accumulation. Just a dusting that melted as it hit last night.
