Negative ghost rider. It’s actually been quite slow. Zero rut activity observed unless you count the lonely fawn that doesn’t know why momma didn’t come home last night.

Got down undetected. Good to see a nice one on his feet again. Still not giving up hope on seeing the deer I hit high.

No does, no other movement. Gonna warm up in a bit, so fugg it. Deer r creatures of habit, makes me wonder if what I heard yesterday will be back in that wood lot. I'll keep an eye on it.

Things to do! I slipped out a little bit after 9:00 a.m. without seeing any more deer after the very early morning encounters. They moved early today. It was fun while it was happening and I'll be back out later this afternoon. I did swap out SD cards at both PLBs. The video is now posted on the Scrape pic' thread.

Look at your couch...If there are no deer sitting on it, then it's a Great Day To Hunt!

When I was hunting in PA a few weeks ago the combine started up. It was like ringing a dinner bell. It was my first experience with that and in the future I think I will get in contact with the farmer to align my hunt with the exact time he is doing it. It was absolutely incredible the amount of deer that came out to the sound of it. May have been an isolated incident but I'll give it another whirl when I can.
