Well guess what. Another storm coming.....yay! Gonna hit ground zero tomorrow night. Not an extremely strong storm but enough to cause big problems.

So I don't get vacation, sick days or any of that jargon. If you don't go to work you don't get paid. Miss to much you'd get fired. So every year shotgun season rolls around I get a deer in the headlight look when I say , Monday (or more) after thanksgiving I won't be here. Their response is you just had a four day weekend.....every year it doesn't matter who I work for. the contractors are in a huge push to get stuff done. Which they don't give too shits about you anyways as soon as work dries up your laid off. This job is over in probly 5 working days then I'm laid off. I have repeatedly said Monday Tuesday not gonna be here. They continue to pick it apart. I'm ready for self employment....
These union big names have always been that way. Unless you are family and ain't worth a fuck, then you get to work all year.
I can go to another job that's 1:45 away but who wants to do that on icy roads all winter...they expect you to give and give but don't give to shits when u want something

Literally dump worthy, but as anyone experienced the stomach flu so far this year? I picked up a little something that's caused me to lose 6#s in 36 hours out the sound bound lane. Doesn't seem to have impacted anyone around me, but I'm pretty certain this isn't an "I ate something bad" kind of thing.
I had a coworker a month ago get hit with same thing. He missed two days work. We had beers and bbq for a safety meeting early out on a Friday the day he returned he couldn't finish a beer yet. He looked like hell. Nobody else got it. Hope u feel better.
I always have stomach issues. Usually related to stress or back pain. Good luck making room for turkey!
I'm scared of food at the moment. Drinking water, but it's out before it absorbs. Terrible stuff.
