I can remember calling my Mommy at 2:30am to axe for a wake up call. I am a bad son.

I think the saying "A child only a mother could love" comes to mind when I read your posts sometimes Tucky!:D

hillarious dude, yea i already pay an assload for insurance. hopefully it doesnt go through the roof

Your fucked now!! High risk if they will still carry you. I had to use my Grandma's address to stay covered after my court date. I took the class before court like you are. Good luck, expect the judge to laugh at you. Especially if you try and lie. My favorite was when he held up my driving record and it was a computer print out 4' long.

I will be between a bedding area and a bean field. There's been a little buck doing this same routine every morning all summer long. Hopefully it won't change anytime soon.... Be nice to get a little meat in the freezer and maybe another $500 bucks to the taxi... He seems to like me:smiley_bestfriends:

I'm missing opening weekend for the 3rd year in a row. The last two years I went to Buckeye's games and this year I'm in Australia for work. Good luck to you all. I'm looking forward to reading your reports this weekend.

i will be sitting on a field edge where at first light a big shooter ten walked by at 35yds last year. i was to busy gocking though my binos and in utter disbelief that this was happening that by the time i picked my bow up and got on him the only thing i had to shoot at was his hind end. i never saw that buck again, however my dad did and had him within 20 yards but couldnt get a shot. i was sitting in a homemade stand last year inside the woods. yesterday, i took an old climber and set it where if he takes the wooded path or the open field back to the bedding area, i can get a shot either way. i also put out a bunch of apples to add a little extra incentive to come through the edge of the open field.

i dont really have any expectations, but i am going to be ready this time. that is for sure.

I got pulled over by a statie about a month ago for "Following to Close."... He was farking PISSED... I don't care.. IMO he shouldn't have been doing 5 miles under on the highway while riding the left lane for miles. I don't give a fuck who you are.. Pull that Shit and I'm on your ass. Son I ain't never seen a cop so mad.. I think it hurt his ego that someone dare ride his ass while he took his Sunday power trip stroll while holding up traffic because people are to scared to pass a cop...

I have had 2 reckless ops. My best was for 115 in a 55. The cop said it took him almost 15 minutes to catch up to me. When he asked if I had any idea how fast I was going I answered "my speed-o-meter only goes up to 85, so no I don't know how fast I was going." He did not care for that answer.

I cut an un-marked MD state trooper off once going 83.1 in a 50. Never understood the necessity of adding the ".1" into the mix but he felt it was warranted.

You sir, are an Asshole!

No, the Statie with his buddy in the car, driving to Columbus and deciding to hold up traffic by going 60mph in the left lane was an asshole.. It was rush hour and there wasn't a car in sight in front of him. Yet there was 3 lanes of cars behind him for a mile. I happened to be stuck right behind him because the pussies to my right wouldn't pass him on the right... That power trip fugger knew what he was doing. He was on a Sunday stroll laughing at how the tool bags wouldn't pass..

He didn't write me a ticket.. He did spit and drum and strut like a tom turkey for about 15 min after he pulled me over.. Told me he was traveling to Columbus for something and it wasn't his area. He said he would write me a ticket but he would have to come back there to go to court. So he just chewed my ass for a while.. No reason to get that mad over a following to close.. Does he get that mad when he pulls over every FTC that he sees.. Nahh, he was foaming mad because someone dared to ride his ass and say. "I ain't scared of you punk, Move Right and quit riding the passing lane."

I got pulled over for "rappidd acccelooractioon" once or so an Alabama Deputy told me.
I have only gotten one speeding ticket for going 76 in a 55 on 23 near Piketon and I would have gotten away with a warning had the Trooper not insisted on calling my 98 Toyota Camery a two ton weapon. I had to correct him and told him it was only a ton and a half weapon. I guess the man in the hat didnt like that and he gave me a ticket.

I will be sitting in a blind in an area we call "the crater".. This is a drastic in yo face move. This blind has been up since turk season in an area that is so close to bedding I'm shooting from the headboard. 30 yard shots max. 3 lanes, one for each window. No trees big enough for a stand..

This bedding area is about 300 yards inside 250 acres of 25 foot row planed pines. Geographically it's in a bowl just below where two ridges meet. For some reason this bowl doesn't contain any pines for about an 80 yard circle. It has briers, grass, weeds and a ditch that contains a few small pools of water.

The deer go down the pine hollow for 300 yards and enter another larger hollow of hardwoods to feed at night. I am going to come in from the back side opposite this bowl well before daylight. Sneak in the blind and hope to dump his ass.. The best water pool is on the high side of the bedding. The deer come in from the low side, but their isn't any water there for a ways down the hollow... It was a tough choice. I went high 30 yards up the slight hill from that water.. The reasoning was, he could sneak back to bed before shooting hours and walk right past me only to return well after nightfall going back to feed.

It's ok if he sneaks into his bedding from the south and i don't see him do it.. I know he's in there. I'll guard the water. He'll get up to get a drink and stretch eventually.

Odds are this will go horribly wrong.. Oh well. It's un-huntable anyway. Last year i tried the cautious approach of starting down in the hardwoods and slowly over a month moving up the pine / hardwoods hollow closer to the crater.. He vanished. This year I'm going to bum rush his ass and hopefully catch him off guard Day 1...
