My mom passed away this morning. The doctors said she was getting better...went from max oxygen to 60% oxygen and was doing better. They didn’t allow visitors and when we called on the phone, she was too tired to answer. The nurses said she was ok, just needed rest. Early this morning her heart gave out...went into cardiac arrest. They did CPR and got her back, but said at this point, even if they incubated her, that her heart was too weak and she wouldn’t survive for more than a couple of hours and would just prolong the suffering. It tears me up that I didn’t get to say goodbye.

Prayers man, the not being able to say goodbye sucks, you would think they would let you.

My mother has lots of health issues and get mad at me because I won’t take her out and don’t spend a lot of time around her. I know she would not survive it.

Thanks for the apology. The way i read it seemed to be an insult...and I’ve never had a problem with anyone on this site. I figured it must not have been worded correctly but the more I read it, the angrier I got. No worries, it’s all good.
