Cold, drafty shop no more. Had a TOO good moment after my unboxing that made me appreciate being a capable homeowner. The line I bought had the wrong connection (box didn't list a connection spec, so I guessed and guessed wrong). Ran down to my local feed mill/hardware store, told the guy what I was after, he walks over to an old wooden drawer, pulls it open and hands me the right male-to-male nipple. $2.48 and he knew exactly what I needed and where it was. Got it cranked up to burn off the smell and with the blower on, it'll run you out of my shop! View attachment 119197View attachment 119196View attachment 119195
Jesse, propane or natural gas?

Wife requested more shelves to put up canned goods for the unforseen. We have an old coat closet in our dining room that we have used for an extra pantry since we got the place. Somehow its the one room in the entire house that didn't get touched during our remodel 9 years ago. We just stuck a plastic shelf in there and called it a day. It has worked over the years but it needed some love. Yesterday i sanded, stained, and sealed the floor, got the walls painted, and 6 shelves installed. I am not a carpenter but i tried my best to bring it all together. I am happy with it and she was tickled!!

One of my projects at work for this winter was getting my bosses old jeep painted I finished it up today. I haven't had much time to work on my personal projects but I enjoy this stuff. I think I have myself talked into starting to do more of this stuff on the side. Mostly semis and equipment the money is there I just gotta do it.

Looks great! That's a true shop right there, I spy a nice jib crane and overhead i-beam.

Heck yeah! Looks great.

I installed a new garage door opener? Does that count as a project? Or is that just a maintenance item? Lol

No. You hit this button on the opener and it goes up. Why would I try to lift the door with my phone? 🤣🤣🤣

Serious answer: No. Didn't feel the need for the mobile/wifi version. Can add it later for $46 part if desired.

Ohhhh, it's soooooo nice. I cant tell you how many times I have turned around to make sure the door was closed. Now I just tap a few buttons and wha-la, see status, set a close schedule, close or open the door. Do it, you won't regret it, as its cheap insurance to ensure all the things I love in my garage don't walk off.

Lol, do you? Asking for a friend, b/c now ya got me wondering if I'm the only one who opens the main garage door 100% of the time.
I was referring too your man door comment... I always open the garage door too walk out. It stays open all day unless we leave.... Gets closed at dusk, when the outside lights go on...

If I had a dime for every time I was awakened at 0300 by the cops telling me my garage door was open, I’d have roughly $.40 😑. I’d definitely invest in the app cuz I’m a forgetful mofo when it comes to putting the garage door down upon arrival after a night of fellowship 😆
