Just one more. #4 got away with one but that flag for roughing passer on that long pick return was very questionable! This isn’t powder puff football! Just a little push on his way down from trying to disrupt the pass?!?! That coulda broke the game wide open but refs got em back in it. IMO

That wasn't a Buckeye decision. That was a Big 10 decision. Even so, tougher schedule in half a season than Bama had in a full season.
Ha. Hardly. Bama played 4 ranked teams in the regular season last year with two in the top 10. OSU played just 2 in the teens and half a season.
Year after year that damn cupcake SEC where 5 different team's won 13 titles under the BCS and CFP. Pray tell how many has the Big 10 won? Just a measly two in the last 24 years, and both were OSU. Shewww doggie. Some stiff competition you guys got there. Just the same though, I hear teams like unranked Iowa, Purdue and Michigan State give them all the headaches they need.

Ibrahim is a beast. I hope he is okay for the rest of the season. I hope he is a non-factor for the rest of this game. Is that wrong? Selfish? Just honest? Lol
@Quantum673 I do agree CJ looks nervous as heck. The big TD catch was like a practice drill against 2nd team D. With a little pressure. . . I don't think he makes that throw.

Those veteran top notch wideouts will help Strouds confidence as long as he settles down and gets them the ball.

A good little practice game for the bucks. They've got a lot to work on especially on the defensive side of the ball. That red highlight below will flat out gas a defense against better team's who know how to capitalize on possession time. They'll gas a defense and leave them in the dirt if they can't make stops. The first game so hopefully they're still feeling it out. I always get concerned when I see high numbers in both passing and rushing against a defense. You can sometimes get away being mediocre at one but they have to be great at the other. At a minimum, a team has to take away either the run game or the passing game so they're not left guessing every play. If they can't at least take one away they're in for a long hard season and they better hope that D line has depth because the RPO is gonna kill em.

Master Teague either needs to step it up or eat some humble pie. Williams/Henderson need to be in the backfield. Stroud needs to get comfy. In all fairness, infinite percent better than I could have done. Freshman. First collegiate reps on a big stage. Who wouldn't have jitters in his shoes?

I barely made it to halftime, but methinks that if this Minnesota team stays healthy, they might be playing OSU again in Indianapolis. looked like the 2019 team. Buckeyes have a lot to fix before 9/11. it amazes me how the book makers can nail point spreads. everyone said OSU by 14. glad for a win and looking forward to a real college football season.
Hey now...I don't like Bama any more than you do. However, I am able to recognize a superior conference when I see it. And I'm still salty for how Urban Liar left Florida. Yes...I hold grudges.
We're young and that wasn't the easiest opening game we could have had. Still, the defense is once again alarming. It's like once we built a 40+ PPG offense, we let the defense go. Worst ever OSU defense last year based on PPG and they're already worst than that after Game 1. I sure hope that's due to nerves and young LBs and CBs, but there's an element of coaching in there too. I went to bed at halftime, so I'll watch the later to get a better feel, just basing my comments off the first half and the box score.
Kerry coombs sucks as a DC. He's a beast recruiter and great position coach. It'll be interesting seeing if Stroud can make some stick throws against good coverage. Stats aside, I think most agree he wasnt very accurate against decent to better coverage. First game in the books, lots to improve on before next week
I know you are a fan of that team up north. Thanks for an honest and fair assessment. Most wouldn't know who you cheer for if they read this. I can appreciate that. I have no issues with honesty. It is the obviously biased assessments that drive me nuts.
