It's been eventful so far. One arrow sent and one happy cattle farmer.
And one of the other guys took a kid for her first time. Arrow was sent. No word on anything besides that. I hope it was the buck that has been showing up at that spot!

Not a single deer since I’ve been in for the afternoon. This mornings first hour was really good, hoping for the same result in the last. Good luck to all

Sat out today as bad as I hated to. Me and little bit are home alone and spent the better part of the day scouting for a youth rifle hunt on public this coming Saturday. Super proud of her, she was tough today in the hills and caught on to some good sign. We set us up a couple spots that I think we can make it happen in. We had a great time today putting some miles on our boots.
5 does. Neighbor shot the buck I was after. They haven’t found it yet. He said they are going back in the morning

I also forgot to post that turkeys are stupid. Eye rolling kind of stupid
Well, they didn’t find him. This is the second year in a row that he has shot this buck and lost it. He needs to start shooting center mass instead of trying to heart shoot them.

Training got canceled after work today so I'm gonna burn it home and try to hit the woods.

Locked in and it came a gully washer on the drive here. Hopefully they will take advantage of the break in the rain and move around some.
