all kinds of stuff going on in the woods. Shrimp of the woods are everywhere around here. 1st sample test bites for me tonight. They are great i think. Got ?s on a few things ill do close ups of later.

Passed over thess earlier this afternoon. IDK what they are, but they looked very fresh.

And just noticed these in a tree right next to me. The upper gold ones appear to look fresher than the white ones underneath them. Again, I have no idea what they are. Just thought someone here might know.

I found white oysters yesterday and orange ones which may be false oysters. Didnt bother trying to identify them any futher as the book said they have a lackluster taste.

Nice hen, looks like some ishnoderma on the side. Great eats.

1st taste for me on the ischnoderma. They should be named coined dark chickens. I enjoyed just as much or more than its orange/yellow twin.

The trees I cut the ishnoderma & hericium from a week ago grew back. Got me some more.

deep fried shrimp otw and a lemon butter poached white bearded shroom. They say you arent supposed to mix wilds but my dehydrator only goes so fast.

is this a horse or crocodile shroom? No yellow root or bruising yellow when rubbed or cut. Gills start off light tan turn black. Get huge! They smell pleasant no chemical or alcohol scent. I froze a ton weeks ago and 3 more came up last week. Ill do a sample test tonight unless someone says no.
