3 doe 2 sm bucks...Where is Papaw buck?
Buck just pushed two does out of the sanctuary, then thrashed a scrape while grunting. Saw the does, but never did see him in the thicket. Good sign for tomorrow. More chasing in that area as I type, so I found the activity again.
You guys with the panoramic views make me jealous. My view this morning was 30 yards. This afternoon was 20. Lol
Very interesting hunt tonight. Pretty sure that buck is the one the blew at me on the way out. Deep, long, drawn out blows like he wanted me to be intimidated more than he was alerting other deer. It's 0.73 miles to get to my stand tomorrow, but I may cut it in half and drive the quad down to the creek and stash it on the opposite side of the farm from where I'm hunting. Packed a lunch and plan on sitting all day, which will be a feat in a Lone Wolf Assault. Feels like all I've done this week is stand up and swivel my head side to side.

Very odd deer movement today for the conditions. 3 bucks, same 3yr old 8 from other day..a handful of lone does meandering around with no bucks chasing..I did hear some chasing before daylight and a few long grunts from that area after daylight that I never did see..can't get a sitter for a morning hunt so hopefully tomorrow evening will be decent. Still just a fuzz early I think in my area.
I'm out ..... only because I wanna drink my coffee in darkness & quiet. Don't forget your coffee !! YKW ! Lol
TOOville is knocking them down this year. At least you guys have me to keep the batting average honest. It’s another beautiful morning. Apparently my deer don’t like beautiful mornings. Good luck fellas.

Boy that's a mighty long walk. I did cut it down to a 1/2 mile and rode the quad in a little further than usual. Multiple deer held tight and let me park within 20 yards before getting up and walking away, so it wasn't too disruptive based on that observation. Only jumped one on the walk in and it never blew, just bounded off, then walked away. I can see a good bit of ground here and have 3 solid shot opportunities. All I need is a buck to check the front door to the sanctuary and I'm in business.
Started to get deerzy. Two does, probably last year's fawns, just walked by the window.
Got in around 615. Fingers crossed
Same 10 that I missed Wednesday just pushed a doe through here. Needed her to stay the course and she'd have drug him right to me. Instead, she took a 90 and ran right under me and he ran behind a big dead fall as they both ran off to the thickest stuff around. Chaotic start to the AM.
