A bit of snow 'n & blow'n this AM ...
We got stuck watching this guy while in sight of our blind. The activity has been 7:30 or later and the goal was to be in by 7. He showed up at 6:58. He boogered off after my neighbor's horses started raising hell. Hoping he's not the only deer we see this morning. First snow of the year here, too!

He's one of those deer that looks different from every angle. I swear he grows 20" with his head down facing you, then loses 30" when he turns sideways! He's the one she wants to kill and I think we can get it done under the right conditions.That small rack looks funny on that BIG body.
Bailed at 9:30 with no other deer seen. She's still in good spirits and ready to roll again in the AM.
Nothing else happening here either.
I'm really hoping for some late morn movement, so I just ordered up some cold turkey sandwiches. I'll stick it out til noon or so.

We got in at 3:20. Doe here at 3:25... musta had quiet approach. Small 4 pt and medium 8 was here awhile
I am successfully retaining my tag!

Got in my stand way too early. Froze my ass off…that wind cut through me. Peaceful evening…but got skunked. Back at it at zero dark 30 tomorrow AM.

Last evening was a rush. We had different bucks hanging around all evening. Definitely one of the memorable evenings!
Locked and loaded with a management tag to burn before Monday. Nice to only have a 5mph wind this AM. Good luck fellas!

Sitting with my dad who is visiting from Florida! If it’s brown it’s down kind of morning. Only one small buck so far getting his groove on with a decent sized doe. Bumping her everywhere around the corn! Good luck guys
