This is the first year since moving here in 2016 that both big fields are wheat stubble with no double crop, two years ago one of back field was stubble next to corn and I did pretty well, I know I got my limit by myself one day. @giles and I ate the dove poppers at the summer gathering it was bunch. Based on the farmers crop rotation, rain or lack of, this field lay out may only happen once every 5 years or so.

Will we be sitting in a fence row, corn, yard? Need to know if i need pants or shorts or flip flops. Dove hunting is wonderful. I have a few decoys but this is a great excuses to buy more if need be and more ammo...and should i bring a perch rod in case doves arent available?

There are some trees here and there, a creek runs on the back of the field, there’s a lane with corn on the other side, I would wear pants and and have bug spray, but you could wear shorts and flip flops and hunt in my yard. Farmers told me today where they accidentally dropped some grain on the corners, here are some pics of the field to give you an idea.

nope no geese ever, for some reason we never have them, maybe in Feburary we may have a few, I have never understood it, @jagermeister you have any idea why my area doesnt ever get any geese in the fields?
Geese, and waterfowl in general, will usually only travel as far as they need to to find a safe and consistent meal. There are a lot of wheat stubble fields between you and the major roosting/loafing areas of local geese.

Wish you was closer. Awesome to put out an offer like that.
As for geese, food is not the only attractant…..they need water also to roost on.
