Something I have found out the hard way: Those days that I just don't feel like laying a Deer Trail. I force myself to do it and then have to walk it twice! And with the dog dragging me through the briers, weeds and fences if I like it or not. But those moments when he shows me where the "deer" is at ~🦌 ~ PRICELESS!

That was on yesterday. Maxx is 4 outa 6. 2 of the tracks I should not have taken. But you can't buy experience.
Just like the dog, you will learn which calls to take and which to pass. You are both young at this and I have no doubt you will get better and better.

How long until momma gets her pup?

I'm laying a track for Maxx...come around the corner and this son of a b**** was all curled up and lunged out about 3' trying to bite me. I'm not afraid of snakes but I've got to say this thing startled me! When I came through with Max he stopped right where the snake was looked both ways and then looked at me like WTF Dad? He then preceded on like the snake was never there.
