Reading this is too cool! I kept telling Kevin it was one h*** of a deer and I don't think it was quite sinking in. Probably the shock soaking in. Again congrats Kevin that is a h*** of a nice deer!! You earned it dude!

Man what a buck and holy heck on the shot! I even slowed the video down and figured you hit him where you all were saying. Just crazy. My dad shot his fair share of deer in the hips over the years. Every time the deer jumped and moved before the arrow got there but he was sure he didn't hit them back there til they were found. Usually bled like a MF'r.

That deer was probably dead by the time I got back to the house ... 70 yrds. I kept telling my wife he's probably laying dead. Just one of those things where wisdom takes over. He's in the shop, so there ya have it. I've always wanted to have antlers sticking up above the truck bed as ya drive down the road ...lol
