I’m assuming this article is about corner crossing and rich ass holes who want everything to themselves, Ive read different versions of this article over the years on various websites. only organization that cares is BHA which I’m a member of, every other group caves to rich ass holes because they are pro 2nd amendment republicans…This maybe a hard pill for some to swallow, but republicans are not in favor of public land access and think the rich/private land owner should rule all. Seen a guy on tictok about this. Even public land rented out with gates across but the farmer has access. Hey corner to corner you should be able to cross without stepping on their property. Also watched a hunting show where they flew in by helicopter and left the same way on landlocked government properties. That seems the way to go anyway, kill a big elk, call the bird in and lift it out to a place where you can process it. Wonder how much to rent a helo?

They used to do it to a piece of public in Montana, the Kock brothers basically built 20 ft fences around parts of it and successfully destroyed the hunting there. Research the Koch brothers , they basically want to privatize the elk herd in Montana

It's complete horse shit. If public land is landlocked then the public should have right of way just like any other land that is landlocked. The federal statute should be upheld and the public should have access via the most direct route.

My point is that I don't like people on a good day, and I especially don't like them on my property. If they can avoid being on my property, then I have no problems with it. But I'm not interested in giving them an easement or right of way through or across property that I own.

I don't much care for anyone telling me what to do with my land either. Two options in my mind. Let them corner cross or don't buy property like this. I don't butch and complain when someone floats the creek behind my house. Just don't come up stomping around my place. I see this as no different.

I don't disagree with your opinion of people. But there should be a designated public easement just as there would be if it was private land that was landlocked.

Got absolutely no issue with that. And would support it over a darn helicopter. Lol. Heck, I wouldn't really care if they cut a small trail over a 10 foot section of my property...just don't go tromping through the middle of it, don't run dogs on it, and talk to me if you want to trail deer onto it.
