Dan who knows.... My guess is curious...So is that just the bear being curious? Territorial? Or just an asshole that needs to be shot?
*they’re*Dan.... I'm a firm believer that both deer and bears notice the flash on low glow cameras... Esp. animals that are in areas that are secluded and no distant lights are present... I know their not smelling my scent on the camera, because knowing the amount of bears in the areas I hunt I handle the cameras with gloves on.... All cameras I purchase from here out will be black flash....
Brock it is a possibility... But they definately mess with them...A camera manufacturer once told me that bears smell the fish oils used in the manufacturing process of the camera case. I have no idea if that is correct but bears do seem to find cameras with no difficulty.
Definately different bears... Distance between two pics is minimal .... Would be possible if distance was greater then the one would not look larger... As for Chevron on bears chests I get a couple nice ones every year... This bear should be very nice this year....Looks like the second pic is the same bear to me. Both have a nice halo around the mouth. I always thought that was cool and would make a good mount. Be extra cool if he has the chest diamond. I like that too.
I’d say 500 +That first bear pictured is a big boy... 450 lbs plus...
