If anything, this young team in crucial units have plenty of game tape to work on!
You guys are playing Middle Tennessee State University at HOME and South Alabama is playing a ranked #24Tulane.

Terrible opening game. We have a ton to improve on if we plan on shutting down ND in a couple of weeks.

. Who Bama played doesn't change the fact that "THE" Ohio State, just played struggle ball against unranked Indiana that went 2-7 in the Weak 10 last year. OSU put up 380 total yards and got held on 4 punts and 3 field goals. Bruhhhh. Bruhhhhh. C'mon. The 4 punts were 3 and outs on drives amounting to 3 yards, 2 yards, 7 yards, and negative 7 yards. Two of the field goals were with a full fresh set of downs, 1st and goal and couldn't punch it in. One of the field goals was with a fresh set of downs inside the 5. There is a LOT to work on there before throwing it back on Bama for playing a cupcake this weekend.
Glad I wasn't able to watch it. Another year with lots of talent. Need leaders. Doesn't sound like the offense has found their leaders on the on-line or at QB. Watching The Final Drive on B1G network. They made it sound like the defense played a great game. Great to hear. Defense wins games. REALLY REALLY helps if the offense is scoring plenty. Even if not scoring a ton, they better control the clock and put some killer drives together to keep the defense fresh.
I believe I stated that there’s plenty to work on with this young team and yes at this point from what I saw WE shouldn’t be ranked in the top 15-20 let alone 3rd in the country. Now, they have the talent and potential to be but will it happen, we shall see.And?

It still doesn’t change the fact how MTSU ended up on the schedule of the all mighty University of Alabama? What, Devry or Cincinnati Eye Institute were already scheduled some place else? Can you even begin to judge or learn from game film from playing a team like that, at home?
At least we played against a conference team in their backyard yesterday no matter how bad we played. Who knows, maybe IU is better this year?
We shall see how we both play next week.

I'm not taking sides, as michigan is playing 3 cupcakes for our out of conference games. But, OSU does play Youngstown State at home next week

When I watched the Buckeyes Spring game and saw that the defense won the game against our starting offense! I knew we had problems!!!!
A sorry Offensive Line with no push off the line and an over rated QB( McCord) with very little experience at the helm?
Hopefully the big ugly’s get the lard out of their asses and execute better or the Buckeyes will be the Suckeyes!
