Back out. That last buck that spooked earlier apparently settled down real quick as a nearby cam caught him casually walking away. We'll see what fuckery happens tonight.

Good luck everyone. I'm hunting some close quarters. Had 2 or 3 that I would shoot in here on camera this week. Four scrapes within bow range. Opening day of rifle was Oct 21 but I'm just not ready to put the bow down yet.
Two big does just came out of the bottom 60 yrds out

I’ve had quite the day, currently in a stand with 15mph blowing straight in my face, used my pack string to make a pulley to snap a limb in my way, the pic is attached. I did this from my climber because I could reach from the ground

I like that second plan that sounds pretty solid!
Got stand hung and was sitting by 330. Farmer picking corn north of me. Currently has 3 acres left. He must be eating supper hasn't moved for 45 minutes. Saw a doe a while ago run thru 100 yards away. Good view up here. Windy night.

Sitting on a pull off waiting for my buddy to finish hunting, hopped out to reorganize some shit and there was a mature doe and her fawn 20 yards directly behind my truck. 4pt in tow. I’m about to buy another either sex tag and shoot a doe 30 yards off the road

Finally got my eyes on a shooter . Bad thing is it was on the wrong side of the creek and they dont allow any hunting. I'll be back there in the am maybe he will be on my side .
Finished with a single basket racked 8. I'm ready for duck season already
Lots of buck activity today, passed a real nice one this morning on a hot doe and several small bucks. This evening saw a shooter, he went left instead of right just too far out for a good shot. Saw a couple small bucks pestering does. Gonna stick it out where all the does are hanging out.
I had deer in every direction at sunset. Most were 300 yards away but 3 were in range. Glassed at least 3 bucks off in the distance with does. Counted 17 total. Good first sit.
When I went out this afternoon, I didn't stay very long. When I did arrive, I went over to the pinch & sprayed some of that doe urine since the south winds were quite breezey & the scent would go on up to where I believe my target would be coming from. Nothing happened while I was there & since it was in front of a cam, it would be interesting to see how a buck would react. The one buck to come thru was indeed my target . He proceeded on thru, so maybe tomorrow am he'll come back.
Lots of does none with any stink on them.
My youngest has missed 2 bucks in last week. Not sure wtf he’s doing
I’ve put him out on his own never missed a deer once till now. Guess ol Dad may have to go sit with him agin but I think it’s time he learns on his own. He’s bloody a few arrows . So probably not going to happen unless he asks.
I have him in a good spot there’s a particular buck I would like him to take . It’s a rather odd one. One of those you will probably only kill one like it in your life.
Hopefully that story will happen.
As far as me ..Well I’m just enjoying the time . I would say I’m honing in on one. Once I pull the trigger tho …
It’s back to the house and grind. So do I really want to end it all .
Tough fuggin choice I love the peace and quiet just as much as Kill.
