All the fun, none of the mess. 5 does, only 2 small ones came out into the field at max range. They were giddy, and screwed around for 10-15mins, mama never showed herself for a clean shot.

Zaleski yesterday. Saw 2 does both running. Today we Wayne near Nelsonville son jumped 2 does and buddy jumped 2 bucks. Neither got a chance to get a clean shot. Still rolling.

It just seemed strange, I’ve always seen guys either in stands or walking around during gun season along my travels. But not this time….

Nate and I didn’t see a single speck of orange between New Lexington and BG on Tuesday afternoon on our way home. 10-15 years ago there would’ve been a guy in at least every other wood lot or field it seemed like.

Indeed. I don't know the reason so I am left to speculate. In good news though, I have more players on my baseball team hunting this year than my previous 3 years. They got the week off!

Theres no shortage of hunters in Highland or Adams county. I'm seeing 2 out of state trucks for every local. Its sadly mostly leased land in my areas. Not hearing many shots at all while out in about. In fact the 2 days I've hunted in the heart of deer country in Adams county, I've heard a grand total of 2 shots. But seeing vehicles all over.
