    Trad Tech Riser....slightly altered

I was at a 3D shoot yesterday, in Temperance, Michigan and picked up an ILF 17" Trad Tech riser, that was slightly altered for better ergonomics in the grip. I was able to install my DAS bamboo core longbow limbs on it and shoot it, before making the purchase. (y) These extra long 45# limbs were...

    Canada geese

I've been fishing at the Maumee River and the geese there are so brave that they'll stand their ground, give you a look as you walk by at less that 6'. I may keep this place in mind, come goose season. While I'm standing there with a fishing rod in my hand, I can't help...

    Wow ......

It's all laughable, but at the same time a damn shame of how he made a mockery out of the legal system and at the same time wasted his career savings on legal fees.:cautious:(n) The preferential treatment of some of the professional athletes, scalds my balls to no end. Just...

The Maumee River was on Fire Today!

Typical Maumee River stuff today. I couldn't buy a walleye. This is the first river fishing that I've done in many many years....and it sucks. The ups and downs and total frustration of losing so many jigs and ending up with 1 walleye. :cautious: To each their own, but I'm more...

The Maumee River was on Fire Today!

My neighbor and I headed to the Maumee area, this morning and got started fishing around 7:25 a.m. The bites were slow starting, then it turned on quickly and next thing we know...nearly everyone was catching walleyes. Everyone except me. :ROFLMAO: Fishing that river is strange, to say the...

    Toledo 11 News Crew Interview

I drove up from Lima to the Maumee Tackle Shop to inquire about the river conditions. Mario said to try fishing at Orleans Park area, but to stay on the shore and not wade out, as the current is vicious. As he pointed towards the donation jar for the gentleman we lost this past Monday, he said...

What’s going on with this guy?

The clarity of the photos isn't the best and it appears that this buck has a nose ring, like you'd see on a bull. The apparent antler growth is early. :sneaky:

    Maumee River 3/29/24

I fished the walleye run at the Maumee River, for the first time in over 25 years, today. The things that I noticed that have changed are the 6 Limit, which used to be 10. Also, 98% of the anglers there were very polite and patient when there were line tangles and quite often they helped net...

    Walleye Run

I've not tried fishing the walleye run in over 25 years. My chest waders have been hanging on a boot rack all that time and I'm sure they're dry rotted enough for me to find out after I hit the river. So, I ordered a new pair and they're supposed to be here tomorrow. :) Meanwhile, I'm...

    Revolver Trigger Job

I'd like to get a trigger job done on my Ruger GP-100. I want it to be around 2 to 3 lbs. (y) As it stands, it breaks clean, but it has to be around 6 or 7 lbs. o_O I swear my caulking gun has a lighter pull. :sneaky: Can anyone recommend a local gunsmith that does work on revolvers?

I never understood why guys shoot squirrels just to shoot them

Thanks and I'm aware of the filth of rimfires. (y) The internals are SS cones and spacers. The can itself is titanium with titanium end caps.

I never understood why guys shoot squirrels just to shoot them

I have a nice Savage 17HMR that I keep close by for such varmints. I use the suppressor off of my 243, so you can imagine that it's very quiet. Deadly accurate, combined with quiet is a great combo! I highly recommend getting one!!! 💯

I never understood why guys shoot squirrels just to shoot them

I used to own a Hyundai 2-door hatchback. My boss always made fun of it, as he disliked anything Korean and joked about it being ran by hamsters. :ROFLMAO: One day as I was leaving work, I started it and it typically ran very quietly, but this time it had a horrible chatter/squawking noise...

    Deer Differences You've Observed!

I've seen some odd ball deer, here in Ohio, but never killed any of them. * I seen a piebald doe running across the road with a herd of others and pretty close to where I live. Never seen her again. * The year I was hunting with a Horse Bow, I shot and missed a basket racked 5 pointer...

    Hoyt Satori Riser Color Change

I like this Alpine Soft-Loc quiver, but it doesn't match the camo pattern. Kinda sticks out like a rat turd in a sugar bowl. :sneaky: So, I decided to match it with the paint scheme that I have on the riser. (y)
