I understand that. I was using the argument that people have for CWD, not the disease itself. Lots of people argue that they find it because they test for it more in captive herds than in the wild.
For arguments sakes. How many people have died over the common cold in 2019? Of that number, how many were tested for Corona? The answer would be zero. Therefor making it impossible to know. BUT, now they’re testing for it and finding it all over the world.
I’m not saying either way, just throwing a spin on it.

Imo, I believe the Democratic Party and the leftist media are using this Corona Virus to induce panic to bring down this great economy and to say that Trump isn’t doing enough and that IF THEY were in power things would be handled better and more efficiently BECAUSE THEY care more for the America’s citizens than this administration.
Past virus outbreaks make this virus look much less likely to be as bad and for the sake of arguments NO ONE IN AMERICA HAS EVEN DIED YET! Couple that with what the Dems and leftist fake media are saying you’d think we’d already have massive amounts of full body bags being incinerated in make shift landfills now.
It’s really sad what’s going on right now politically. You’d think this would be a no brainer for being a totally bipartisan issue but their hatred of Trump and their drive to regain power to totally change this country for the worst, IMO, is all they care about. Buncha sore losers who demand the political game be tilted to their favor so they can win back control of our lives. I think Trump winning in 2016 derailed a bigger hidden agenda that WE THE PEOPLE have no clue was being executed under our noses.
I fear for our children but I’m afraid the majority of them being misled or brainwashed in school and college are going to end up being the catalyst that gets the agenda back on track. Scary times ahead for sure.
Sorry if I derailed this virus discussion into politics but EVERYTHING negative going on has been blamed on our President and has become a political weapon since the day he was elected.

Oh the left is absolutely trying to use this against the president. No matter what he says or does they will find something to blame him for.
To address the statement above though. When people start dying its too late to start thinking how bad it could be. We've seen the progression in other countries and have a pretty good idea of the cycle by now. Americans are not some super race where this virus will suddenly act differently and we'll magically be immune. Sure we we have great healthcare but that only last until it's overloaded and low on supplies. The CDC is transitioning from a strategy of prevention and containment to one of slowing down the spread. At this point with 4 infections of untraceable origin in three states further spread is inevitable. If they can slow it down they can hopefully manage demand in the healthcare system and manage to keep corporations at hopefully minimum staffing.
I agree with your statement but will add what Dr Saphire(Sp?) said on Fox News this morning that it will spread some because people just can’t follow instructions or change their ways because the human race isn’t perfect and will do what they want regardless. Look at the masses that continue to go to work,gym and use public transport while having colds or the flu. People will do what they do so that will cause it to spread but if they just wash their hands and be aware of their own health and act accordingly to doctors orders the sooner this virus outbreak will die out and we can all go on about our lives.

I'm not that worried about it yet and hell I live closer to ports of entry than you guys... Was in Walmart today and plenty of bleach... This comming from a guy that makes sure he has paper towels in his pocket to grab handle to exit most public bathrooms... Why don't they make them push to exit... Also I'll go in a deli to get a sandwich and if I see person handling food and money without gloves on I walk out... But again not worried about this...

Oh absolutely. Careless and nonchalant attitudes is what with further the spread. We saw that in California where a person brought home from Wuhan attempted to escape from quarantine. Unfortunately the human beings are a rather selfish species and as long as most Americans can get a hamburger for a buck they really don't care. We'll continue to see that with people who don't follow social distancing guidelines, wash their hands, and generally fail to prepare. The non-china death rate for persons my age is around .2% however for those above 70 it's more around 14%. I personally think beyond myself, and while I would never know it, killing someone due to a lackluster attitude is not something I wish to do.
When the dems blast Trump for not doing something, I think to myself "well then why haven't they taken the initiative and put thru fast track legislation?"

Yes. Much like your opinion. I don't agree with yours. You don't agree with mine. Nothing wrong with that. My opinion is simple: live my life. Don't add to the panic. I cannot stop this. I will listen to what the govt says. I will reduce my exposure to people who may be infected. I still have 2 kids in school being exposed by potential virus carriers. My wife is a nurse. If that virus is coming for me. . . I'm not going to stop it. I won't hole up and be a recluse. I'll go about my daily life. Says so in Revelations. In a nutshell: go about your business. You won't change the end. Don't add to the chaos.
