Couple months ago I seen an axle, leaf springs and tires on Facebook Marketplace. They were bought new but had never been used. Guy said it was 42" wide and I could have it for 120. If I came the next day. It was a 2 hr drive both ways but I was saving 200. on the deal.
I already had a pile of 2" angle I had gotten free off a job. Also had the square stock and coupler already.

Cut many of the pieces out and took them to work on a Saturday. After about 3 hrs, it was starting to take shape. I'm glad I let a couple guys talk me into going a bit more heavy duty on this. Should take whatever it is I will be doing with a 4 wheeler.

The iron workers at work cut out a section of decking on a crane. Needed to fit in a side tool box. I got the scrap out of the trash and cut two 10" fenders for my trailer.
Found out that jigsaw blades made for Aluminum and ran slow are worth their weight in gold!
