It's just gearing up around here. Looking forwards to making Black Raspberry Jelly and Syrup!

I miss all the blackberry bushes I had access to on the properties in North Carolina. I could pick flats of them. Only competition was from the birds.

I wanted to swing by the farm yesterday for a check and ran out of time. Looks like we'll need to get out there this weekend.

I’ve been harvesting raspberries for about two weeks now…blackberries are all still green.

They're Coming on awful fast we thought we would get a small bowl full and ended up with 5 qt you may want to check your berries quickly.

Still using my Dad's Berry Bucket. I know hes looking down proud to see me still using it.

well, if you got 'em, mine must be on, too. I didn't see any last sunday, but I wasn't looking too hard. better got get some today.

Some spots growth seems to be a bit normal (5-8 berries) per plant. Others were like ALL ripe. Been doing this a long time and this year is just a little on the strange side. Yes it will just fit in with everything else we've all been through.

Picked Another gallon just now... it's humid up in the middle of them thickets.

not quite ready at my place. nothing more ripe than these besides the three I ate.

ho lee sheet. that is a bunch of raspberries! dang, I'll be lucky to get a gallon off my place if I get them all before the birds and deer. nice work.

My blueberries are just starting to turn and I got a Scarlet tanager in their already. Beautiful red bird with dark wings and tail.

We're at 9 gallons total.

my berries very slow to ripen. I was other there mowing on Thursday and still half or less are ready to pick. probably go over tomorrow and get what I can. hard to make myself suffer in the briars when I've got June bearing strawberries aplenty right now.
