Biggest turkey, caught me napping.

I've been watching these turkeys for over a week and can't seem to be there, when they're there.
This morning, I set up 2 hens (facing away from me) sat down and waited. Usually, they either show up around 7:15ish or noon. I was over dressed, so that I'd stay warm...and promptly fell asleep.

I woke up to the clucking of 4 toms strutting around my decoys at 15 yards. I moved my hands real slow, reaching for my shotgun (laying on my lap), flipped on the Sightmark and flipped off the safety. I prepared for a swing and shoot...and didn't have to wait long. One of the toms seen my hands moving and started Putting loud and the other toms noticed me too. As they started walking to the left, I swung up, picked a tom and shot. (y)

The shot was running, at 28 yards with 3" Winchester Long Beard #5s, Mossberg 500 Turkey Special 20" barrel and a Black Maxx .660 choke tube. He has a 9" beard, 1 1/2" spurs and weighed 25 lbs.

Now back to coyote hunting at night.
