Coin guys, My Internet search revealed nothing. What is it? I found it in one of those workbenches I recently restored.

US Military coin. Likely from 3rd Infanty that was at Aschaffenburg. Much of the U.S. Army presence in Aschaffenburg ended in 1992 with the ending of the Cold War. The dates are roughly align with that. My guess it's a comparative coin to mark the departure of the unit.

The benches came from a friend whom didn’t want the contents nor the benches. His father goes to auctions in NC and drags a truckload of tools and equipment to Ohio every time he comes to visit. I gather some guy in NC is missing his coin.
