Morning everybody, I've got a fox or yote problem on my place, I've lost four hens in the last week and all during the day when I'm gone at work. All my fowl are free range but go into a solid coop at night. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Any tracks? There was a neighbor down the road from our property that was getting chickens killed by a fox last year.

It's a holiday weekend, catch one of those chickens and making it screech for a while. Whatever it is will come in looking I'm sure, then deal with it.

Put a trail cam out to see whats killing them.
They know it's easy food so they wont stop till ya get rid of em.
Traps should do it just keep the dogs tied up at night.
If its happening at night just set the traps right before dark and just shut em down during the day.

Its happening during the day when we're at work. I think ill put traps on the other side of my land with some sort of attractant and see what that does.
Thanks guys.

Its a small yote. I was walking to the kitchen to make a bottle for the baby and seen him in the trees east of my house. I put my daughter in her bouncy deal and rushed the shot. We couldn't find any blood so this evening ill try calling again.
