One of the long time members here is deaf. He shows up to every function and is a big part of TOO. He is very much like the woman in the video. Great guy and much like her, you wouldn't know it. So we are supporting him.

Yes, I’m hearing impaired have been that way since I was 3 years old. After seeing that video I was pissed on the part that manager yelling at her face and waving at her face….and wouldn’t even write it down…what.in.the.fuck! SMDH. I’ve only had it happen to me one time but differently . I was at a Burger King one time long time ago and was only one guy at drive thru and the place was dead. Anyway, instead of ordering before getting to the drive thru window, I just went on to the window so I can read lips and place an order. Manager says you need to go around and place an order back there. The fuck? I can’t hear?! I got to read lips. Manger says you need to go around…. I said, how about no I’m out, psh!!! Didn’t say psh wish I could’ve have said it then, psh.

Now it’s gotten better for me so far. They have a display when placing order and you can see if it’s right before getting to the window. Sometimes I’m lucky I can make it out on hearing what they’re saying . No way in hell I would let the manager yell at me like that like dunking donuts, hell no.

I've got too different ways to look at this my wife's grandparents were both deaf, she has a cousin and a his son is also deaf so I have learned sign language and so have my kids, her sister is a teacher at the school for deaf. So I've seen first hand how they get treated and how hard it is for them. Now on the other hand my mom is general manager of 4 dunkins and I can tell you there's no way in hell that would of happened in any of her stores. Now dunkin should handle it and I think they will because she has had corporate contact her for small customer complaints, but why in the hell do we keep going after companies and people that have nothing to do with it. The only people that Had anything to do with it were the workers and the other customers in the store that were to chicken shit to stand up for her they are the ones that should be held accountable.

In our little shop I’ve had people tell me they were going to “call corporate “ If you’ve ever been to our little shop, you realize how laughable that really is. It’s even more fun when I explain to them that I am corporate... lol. I can only think of two occasions that happened but the most memorable was stereotypical trash trying to pass off a counterfeit 50. I should have shot them and done the world a favor.

I don’t think any of us believe that ALL Dunkin’ Donuts act like what happened in the video. We’re just bringing it too light so, like this thread, we can discuss it so it lets others who were ignorant of the situation, know what happened.
