Simple and effective. Time will tell if it sags at all, but it's attached to 3 trusses near the webbing connection. Won't carry a load for extended amounts of time, but be careful as bottom truss chords aren't made to hang stuff from. Last house had the attic opening in the middle, was easy to just slip a length of 4x4 up there.

I did put mine closer to the door so I can just spray the blood out with a hose. Also works out that the door hangers help keep the deer from swing while butchering.

I put a 2x6x8 across the stringers in the attic and secured with wood screws. I then drilled the top and hammered in a prong nut. This way i could take a 12 inch eye bolt and put it through the finished ceiling and screw it in. That way the eyebolt was removable and didnt draw attention in the middle of the bedroom ceiling. 😅😅

*Disclaimer, my design is adequate for static loads only🤣
