Well I've got about 12 cams up already and have some good deer showing up and have some from last year ill be looking for. We planted food plots in Kentucky the beginning of June and they looked really good so far.

A couple updates, I ended up getting the rest of my cams out last week, I'll let them soak awhile but I've been getting some good ones showing up on the cell cams. Makes it easier letting the other cams run for awhile when I've got the cell cams out. I did get news today that I lost one of my favorite spots the old man let his sons take over the farm and they leased it.

Dang the luck on the spot going away but ... how they hunt it might benefit you. Time will tell. I yearly contact my neighbor, he leases 100 acres to Amish that ajoins me to the East, and tell him "I'll beat their price. Period." Sooner or later I may get it but he knows he's just a handshake away to get a better price.

Headed back to kentucky next Friday to finish up some things and replant a food plot that fizzled out quick. Also picking up a sandblaster and compressor while I'm there to really jump into starting my own business. Going to check a few more cams this weekend and knock the dust off the bow.

I'm looking at doing semis dumptrucks and heavy equipment. Not really wanting to restore necessarily, just give good quality paint jobs that a working man can afford. I've painted about everything you can think of. I will offer some mobile services for sandblasting and metal polishing.

Went back to kentucky last weekend got one plot re planted and threw some corn out. About a month away and we will be back down there for opening weekend. Have a few good bucks that are showing up pretty regular now and finally got the rain We needed down there. Not sure how much I'm gonna be able to hunt this year my new business adventure I'd taking off way faster than I thought. Its a good thing but finding a way to balance 2 jobs and the kids in sports then deer season is gonna be rough. I'll dedicate most of the year to the kids until they hopefully fill a tag.

Kentucky opener coming quick. I wasnt planning on going back down there before season again but sounds like i may have a train caboose to paint next weekend will be able to fill feeders and check cams to get everything ready to make the drive back down 2 weeks later. And for anyone interested In the red moon days for this year.

Getting things ready to head back to kentucky this weekend for the opener. Still a few good deer hanging around down there so hopefully me or my brothers can put some velvet on the ground. I ended up painting that Train a few weeks ago down there and picked up 140 acres to hunt from the guy that owns the train. I'm gonna go in Friday and walk it he gave me a few good spots to start. Its gonna be hot 89 for Saturday so it's gonna be miserable if anyone hunts the blinds we have on the food plots.

Passed on an iffy shot this morning on a good 8 just needed him to step out of some thick stuff and he would of had an arrow headed his way. Rain is about to set in but hopefully it will be gone by this evening.
