For the guys who have had this done before, I am having my consultation this afternoon and if I am a candidate they can do the surgery on Wednesday. Would you do this 2 days before your rut-cation? Do you think I will be able to see well enough to hunt by Friday?
I have been considering getting this done myself, I'm blind as a bat without contacts or glasses. From what my sister tells me, just the day of and the next morning, she was a little blurry. Beyond that, she said she was fine. For the guys who have had this done before, I am having my consultation this afternoon and if I am a candidate they can do the surgery on Wednesday. I had the procedure on Wednesday. At the followup the next morning my vision was 20/15 almost 20/10. After the followup I drove 3 hours to my hunting property. The next morning I shot a deer I should have passed. I am blaming my new eyesight for causing me to misjudge him. LOL
The vision upgrade has been incredible.

Where did you get yours done I’ve been looking to get it done as well I’m over contactsWill you be able to see by Friday? Yes you will. You will be able to see pretty dang good by Wednesday night.
I would be very leery to try and hunt Friday though. Reason being is two fold. First being your eyes are going to be sensitive to light for a while. Different people are effected differently but I know for me I wore dark glasses for a week whenever I was outside.
2nd reason. You cannot rub your eyes for 7-10 days after the procedure to get the lens time to heal. I wouldn't want to chance it being in the woods for a week straight.
I highly recommend the procedure. I had it done over 10 years ago.
