Looking for a campground near...

Figured I’d start a thread as this will likely be something I ask every few months.

Anyways, they are moving our show-up for this job another 25 minutes away from the house. Already driving 2:05 every morning and evenings are often close to 3 hours. Times to find a place to park my camper and start living out of it.

I’ll be just south of coshocton and woodberry wa. Looking for full hook up if anyone has any suggestions. I found a place a half hour away that I like called LA-Z acres that seems to be alright. Full hook up and $500 a month for the spot, plus propane. Seems way more gooder then a damn hotel for $100 a night!

Anyone camp this area in a full hook-up and recommend it? Offers welcome.

Also found a couple of trailer houses for rent around the same money. Then I’d have to buy some furniture and don’t really feel like all that when I have a mobile set up already.

Thanks!

What a damn minute, I’m gonna have to call the folks back and see what the deal is. Off season/winter time and they want $500 a month. Prime season they want $1,650 for 5 months?!

They probably mean $1650/month during that period.
Sounds like a seasonal price. $1650/mo to park your camper? Can rent a darn nice place for less than half that.

Dave- Don't be afraid to look into efficiency apartments. Some of them come furnished. Many of them are set up for temporary employees and will lease for less than a year. There is an old motel across from our business that rents rooms by the week. Monthly rates are lower. They stay filled with workers from the refinery who are in for shut downs, etc.

I took the job for the Van Wert/Lima area. Show up is in Delphis. I don’t feel like fighting the camper right now, so I’ll likely wait to drag it anywhere. Be hotel living with another guy. Not ideal...but it outweighs the hassle of a camper in the winter. Hopefully I can find a hotel I like at an affordable rate.

Still only 2.5 hours from the house, so close enough to go home on rain days or if something is going on.

I know a few of you live around there. Gonna have to meet for a beer. Go ahead and give up your favorite watering hole that serves food now. “I will find it”
