I wasn’t really looking for a car, but I always scan to see what is selling. Came across this and I have mildly been looking for one in this shape for years.

1965 VW Beetle 39,000 original miles, straight as an arrow, nothing really had been messed with at all. Never had a radio in it, looks like nothing had been changed at all. Few little spots in the paint, some rust on the chrome. It has had some paint work or been painted at some point.

the interior looks brand new. Gonna clean it up real good, buff the paint and enjoy it.

the mod I plan on doing is empi wheels and drop spindles to lower the front some.

The guy I bought it from is an old VW mechanic that has had a local shop for 40+ years, he has had it for 10 years. Recently put new tires on it, new brakes lines, new wheel cylinders, new brake lines, new gas line, new carb.

I should just have to drain the gas, put a battery in it and be good to go.

Great look to that one. Cleaned up extremely well and the roof rack is cool. Empi's would look great on it. Nice choice going with an older one too. By the 70's they were cranking production and selling millions. Roughly 67 and older should hold great value compared to 70's models.

I have always been a fan of 1966 and older, love the front finder/headlight combo. Now to find a battery for it.
