Nice size coyote

Got a pic of this yote on my cellular cam. Squirrels like to perch on the log that he’s sniffing. This is in Vinton county near McArthur down in a ravine/creek bottom.

In the 30+ plus years since coyotes have appeared back on the landscape here in Ohio, they have doubled in size IMO. Used to be 30#s was huge, now that's a sickly yote. This dog is all of 50# IMO, which is pretty standard now it seems.

My neighbor snared 4 so far this year....I told him to get his ass on my place!

Great color on him. From what I’ve heard you can’t get rid of them. I know of a group that kills 40-50 per year from the same setup. More just move in and take over.
