Do you guys think this is a kill shot only got about 6 inches of penetration might of hit opposite shoulder

Typically if it goes in from one side and hits the opposite shoulder the arrow would stay in and or snap off leaving the fletching behind. That’s a pass through. Mechanical heads aren’t known for staying intact with a shoulder hit.
Looks like liver blood to me. Hard to tell if its the light though.
What did the deer do after the shot? Muke kick, run, walk, hunch up, flip you the bird?

Gotcha, went in and stopped. The blades don’t tell the story of a should hit though.
Well I lost blood at the very end it was not every couple feet apart it was dark and got turned around and now has rained
OK. I myself would look at where he was vs what direction he was headed. Find Creeks, Thickets and anything a deer could lay down in. All you can do is grid search for the deer and hope for the best. Friends will help you cover more ground.....
