Ozark Coolers from walmart

We bought a ozark 60 quart cooler (yetti knock off) with all the bells and whistles (roller wheels, extendable arm, bottle opener, drain, locking latches), all of the features worked very well other than keeping ice frozen. We bought 3 7# of ice Sunday at noon and they were all completely melted within 24 hours. Do not buy a ozark from walmart if you are expecting long lasting ice. We are returning this product tomorrow. I give this product a 1 out of 5 and do not recommend this product.

I have the soft one as a lunch box and agree, they suck and only look like the others.

Sure if you aren’t in it all the time it’ll hold ice, but most coolers at that price will.

They should’ve stopped at the tumbler.

Mine had ice in it the whole weekend of the family outing, and 3 days after, up until Wednesday I believe.
Good deal, like I said, if you aren’t in it all the time, they work fine. Someone like Jon and myself, not so much. Between cold beverages and kids...don’t expect it to hold ice. It’s a cooler for under $100, it’s what you get.

Another part of that is temperature of the cooler when you fill it and what you fill it with.

I use to work for a company that supplied yetis plastic. I've seen what they put in between the plastic, ain't nothing but 1.5" insulation.

It does have a "Cool-down" period after you fill the cooler. And if everything you put in it is warm.....the cooler is going to look like a POS.
Hopefully this is the case John and you end up liking it more.

Even if I put mine in the freezer at night, it still doesn’t compare to my soft sided RTIC.

I use a cooler as much as the washer and dryer.
So this is the like me talking about turkey calls...leave the cooler talk to those of us that use them on the regular! [emoji23]
Worked for me the first time I used it
