Closed emitter with a solar panel and a battery accessible while mounted. 2-4moa, 6 at the most. Probably a holosun 509t but they just came out with a smaller one.

theoreticly just a range gun but if an 870 6 rounds of buckshot didn’t do the trick maybe 15 40 cal 125 gr.go would stop & deter annihilate

Vortex and holoson fan myself. Going off of cogz reply, the replaceable battery while mounted is a huge convenience. Also don't get stuck on the motion activated train to much. The newer high quality dots have such a good battery life you can leave them on . Replace them every 6 months for peace of mind

I like red dot sights, because there's no eye relief to be of concern, like there is with an optical scope. Vortex, Sightmark and Holosun are very good red dot sights. 
I had a Sightmark Ultra Sight on a Ruger Super Redhawk, but now it's on my Mossberg 500 Turkey Special. Never had any issues with it.
I have a R.I.A. in 10mm and I have a Holosun 507c on it that works very well.

My suggestion would be a holosun 507c or a trijicon rmr. My preference is a 4 moa dot.
