I took a new job in March and have as flexible a schedule as it gets due to setting my own and being able to work from wherever I'm at. So I won't be locking out 9-11 straight days like I have in the past. I'll play the weather and other conditions when it makes sense, and I'll be prepared to put in 5-6 days straight when it feels right. I'll probably hunt 11/11-11/15 as hard as I can depending on the data I have on 11/10.

I'm off work Nov. 6th thru 15th. We do have a cruise planned in the middle of there but we will see if we are actually able to go. I still have a couple spare vacation days so when ot feels right to go out when I get up in the morning I already told my boss that I may just not be there a few days and no matter what DO NOT CALL ME...

I think I work a total of 8 days the whole month of November as of now and will get a few more comp days after working Veterans Day so I think my rut cation is the whole month. Then if I’m not successful I got gun week off to.

Our baby is being cut out the 21st of October, Ill definitely take the 1st week of November off, depending on the weather I may take the last week of october or the 2nd week in November, maybe all 3

Usually around October 22nd, it gets really good around here. By mid November, it's kinda over
Kids kill bruisers every year chasing does during youth gun. But my general belief is that North West Ohio best action is last week of Oct which typically coincides with the corn being takin off. Then it gets a week later or so the further you go down the state.

Rut, breeding is 7-15 Nov by fawn drops, every year, science.

I like the pre-rut, chase, early rut, lots of guys I know do better on bigger bucks after the initial batch of hot does gets bred and they go looking.

Heading to camp Oct 28 - Nov 15 I can get some work logged on bad days to hunt.

No doubt. Not that we still dont see action, it just seems my core area here always has a hot rut period from Oct 22 through Nov 12, then fizzles out quick

The last three seasons I’ve seen lots of searching from the last couple days of October through the first ten days of November. Also, after I’ve killed my buck, I usually get pics of a bigger buck within 3-4 days. I’m assuming either I’ve taken the dominant buck in the area and others move in, or others are moving in after peak breeding to locate more does.
