I'll be picking up my first compound bow for this season. All the advice I see is "shoot as many as you can", which makes sense, but the only retail stores I know of that have ranges is Cabelas. Any other places in central Ohio that I should look?

All of the shops pretty much suck. To what degree, is where they differ.
Like @Wildlife mentioned, Fishermen’s Warehouse has a decent reputation. I would also look into Fin Feather Fur over in Ashland.

Where at in central Ohio are you looking for a shop?? I may be able to help you locate a pretty decent pro shop near me and get you set up with one of the techs there as well.
Yea I replied to your other thread...I vote for Fishermans too. They've done me solid everytime I stepped in there.
