Man I love me some wings! Wet or dry, I'll eat them up. Surprisingly, I've never tried to make them myself. I've grilled some a few times, that's about it. Looking for some recipes to try! Hook me up brothers.

Wings are always better overcooked.

Easy.... toss in EVOO and then Webers Kickin Chicken rub.

Smoke/grill until internal temp reaches 170+. I like a cook temp above 300 so the skin isn't chewy.

Second easy option...

EVOO toss, season with Lawrys. Cook same as above. Sauce....

Sauce recipe.

One cup of your favorite hot sauce (like Franks)

2 Tbsp of minced garlic

2 Tbsp of butter

2 dashes of worschestire

Squirt of yellow mustard

Melt butter in a sauce pan on low temp, add rest of ingredients and toss finished wings. Add back to the grill if desired for "cooked on" sauce.

Great thread! Thanks for sharing fellas. I really need to get a smoker. What's a good starter smoker?... I'm leaning towards an electric Masterbuilt smoker.

Even though Ive only used it twice, Im really liking my Weber Smokey Mountain. Ive got the 22.5" which is pretty big, but they do come in smaller sizes. 18.5" and 14.5" I believe.

I have master build electric smoker its okay. It makes good tender food and you dont have to regulate the tempature. Pretty much set it and forget it. It doesnt produce enough smoke make a smoke line in the meat. I wish i would have saved my money and bought the weber instead.

Weber Smokey Mountain is great. A Weber Kettle Grill is the most versatile cooker I have.

I will bring my Ugly Drum Smoker up to the Summer Shoot. Great cooker that can be done for under $100.

I was craving some fish and thought I had some down in the deep freeze still...I was wrong. So today we will be making home made fresh fries, deep fried cheese curds and deep fried wings. I like mixing these two together for my fish, we will see how it turns out on the wings.
