There are three different drainages that combine into a creek. There is water all over the place.

Never had one directly under my stand before. This is about 5 minutes before i shot her.

I have one of those shots under my belt from years ago and didn't fair well for either of us either.... Learned too bend from the waist on those shots.... Sorry it didn't work out for you.....

Let's get some more points on this board fellers! It is time to kill!!!

I'll be out Friday evening, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Back to work two days, off Halloween, off 1.5 days, hunt Friday evening on the 2nd and then the 3rd through the 6th. I'll work the 7th, then off the 8th through the 13th. I can't wait!!!

I'm off from the 29th too the 16th and will be on stand eveyday... Heading out in a little bit too pick up two more stands, my buddy picked up a new one and we're heading too a new old farm we've hunted and hang them saturday before the rain moves in.... Not a lot of prospects on there but more than what we have on the farm we're hunting now..... Gotta love switching gears during the rut...... Good luck too y'all.....

Good luck Wayne, you been seeing any antlers around you? Picked up a couple of stands today got them assembled and will hang them fri/saturday time frame.... Rains moving in saturday so that might be it.... Then hunting for the next three weeks.....

was planning to hunt friday and saturday. found out today i have to work both days. Might have time to get out for a couple hours saturday after work.
i hate hunting on sundays, but its getting to be that time of the year. i'm off halloween through the 4th.

3 deer came into the pond we hunted tonight. They came in right at last light. I think by what i could see, one was a good buck. We set up on one side where they came through last time, they came out the other way!!! We moved the blind and now they cant get by us at all. So hopefully next time we will connect. Tonight was the first night i have seen (what i think) a decent buck. I have seen some small basket racks though. Everywhere i hunt the corn is up still. I have a feeling once it comes down, things will change.

Says rain all weekend up here for us. Hopefully that changes. This "Perfect Storm" is coming next week so that should prove interesting.

Edit...It just changed...50% chance sat, good and cold sunday
