Has anyone had any experience with the Family Forest Carbon programs?
Is it worth it? Was it worth the money with the terms?…

Is it like tax credits for "being green". Sort of like the tax credits solar companies get. They sell them to big companies to reduce their taxes. Say Exxon buys tax credits for $100 but it reduces their tax liability by $120. Generates money for the solar company. Lord knows they don't actually make a profit without our tax dollars subsidizing them.

We have our properties in pa signed up for something like that, can’t remember the exact name. A little bit of a hassle to get set up. It’s been a few years so I can’t remember all the details. I’ll see if I can find the info

This agrees with what I know about these things. It’s a pretty small amount per acre.
