Now that the leaves have started falling keeping mind deer like eating fresh Maple leaves . Keep an eye out and if your hunting mobile it may help you determine where to set up . It's more of a secondary food but the deer will detour to grab a few leaves to and from their primary food .

Where I set up the other day was in a stand of Maple. Best sign on the farm, still got skunked. I'm sure when it cooled down after dark there were deer all over the place.
