Michigan deer harvest off 13%

I don't even think this will make me a metal hat man- but those are the numbers that are shared....who knows if they're true. If the state hedged the numbers just a couple of years until the population was established the monster isn't able to be defeated by the man, just mother nature. Mayeb someone will start selling mange online.

They should be eating bark this time of year and are built for this. Just leave them alone so they don't get pushed out of the pines.

Guessing this is at a bait pile and the deer is coming for food. Another instance that humans have messed with nature and created a problem.
One reason why we value venison more than states like ME, it tastes better secondary to their diet ...

Technically baiting is "illegal" in N. Michigan where this was at. Doesn't mean you aren't wrong LOL, I can just imagine what bait sales were like in Michigan this year.

Either way, a couple feet of snow doesn't mean they're gonna all die. They are built for this👍🏾. If I was to nitpick, fawns are pregnant now...stop calling them fawns. Lol. Dr. Deer ain't doctoring very well.
