I'm turning into a grumpy old bastard. Especially because everything is expensive these days and quality keeps getting shittier. I've sent four emails in the last couple days to manufacturers, polite, informative, but a "hey this broke, what can you do about it"....... We'll see.

Tactacam. Reveal Pro developed internal condensation behind the lense which made the pictures cloudy. Their warranty department was great and had me a try a couple things then gave me an RMA (I had to pay postage)

My Outdoor Edge folding knife broke an internal spring where the blade lock wouldn't stay engaged. "Lifetime warranty against material defects". I sent them an email with pictures - Pending response.

I got a warranty notification in the mail today from Hyundai for our Sonata. The rear tail light assemblies melt the bulb housing so they're extending the warranty to 200k miles on the taillights . I sent them an email inquiring about cost reimbursement because I replaced both of them 11 months ago for this exact reason.

The kitchen trash bags keep pulling the plastic drawstring out. Like it wasn't secured in the bag so when you pull it to close the bag it comes right out. I sent Hefty an email and pictures. $18 shit ass product.

Tired of it.

Man if that’s all you got to bitch about your in good hands.

Coming home from the camp (4hrs) I notice my time is reading military time. Last time it did that I had to have my truck towed to ford because it was dead. Well batteries were bad. How could this be the truck was brand new two years ago. They were replaced under warranty. Now back to today, I get in my truck for a chiropractic visit ( yes my back is fugged), and the truck goes umf. F me running I need batteries again. Hunter jumped me w ease and $430 beans later I’m good. They don’t make batteries or anything else like they used to.

Ordered a 296 piece Craftsman mechanic tool set a couple weeks ago from Lowe’s. They were having a flash sale for $149. Still haven’t seen it. FedEx shows it’s still at Lowe’s says label created. Lowe’s says their system says out for delivery. Lowe’s called Friday and said they reshipped it and I would have it by Monday. Nope not yet. Same exact thing. Lowe’s says it is on the truck for delivery and FEdex says Lowe’s printed the label but FedEx never picked up package. Who the fugg knows. I just want the tools. 🤣

Yep, went to the chiropractor today well. But my battery in the tundra died without warning in December.
2021 truck, 3 year old battery, some BS right there. My 2014 tundra battery lasted 5 years…..

I alway had the mindset that brand new vehicles wasn’t as hard on batteries and got a fresh ass battery as they were made so it would usually last 5 years. The ones off the shelf your lucky to get 3

I don't even know where to start...I guess I can start with my latest wtf moment. Newer CAT had an old problem. Diesel runaway happened after running at operating temperature for almost two hours. She stumbled, puff of smoke, I turned the key off and away she went until she blew up. 2,721 hours

It was a rental so CAT brought me another one right away. Unloaded it off the truck and the push bar H frame was busted off the X chassis. Wtf. Put it back on the truck and try again.

Nope not even close to how they used to make stuff. Motorcraft has a 36 month replacement warranty. Kicker is you have to have the ORIGINAL receipt. A damn museum can't even keep thermal reciept paper legible that long. Orielys can print you a copy paper receipt on a printer though. My receipts are in the glovebox.

Oh I bet I know. Driver picked them up from lowes and didn't scan them, they fell off the truck on the way back to the depot.

Whenever we have some issue, I let the wife do the correspondence. She has the gift of calling them fucking assholes without saying it directly…… Me, not so much…..

:ROFLMAO: I just send an email through their contact portal. No way I can deal with the phone operators. I'm always polite until a mother fucker gets an attitude.

I’ll email em, but if I talk to them on the phone, the wife is telling me to calm the fuck down 😂
