I liked my Pro Diamond ok but it felt dead in the hand. No real way to explain it. All other releases had a positive engagement/release feel to them.

I had one and know exactly what you are talking about. I need that bit of "authorization" that comes with my Stan. I know its engaged and I can feel its crispness. Makes a big different in my confidence...

Usually the first experiment with a new product is free, as I like to refine the product to ensure it meets my standards. I'm OCD when it comes to making stuff, and it's gotta be perfect.

I'd have to mess around with it some and see if I could find a way to make it work without having to braid the release in with the sling. Also have to figure out a good length for the Cobra braid and the lanyard piece. I've been kicking the idea around, lemme see what I can come up with.
