Just checked in with Jesse via text. He saw a 130" 8 point and a "slunger" this morning. He said he has a helluva story already.
I just ran into Jesse & he was telling me about the bucks he saw, so I'm pumped. I then met Mrs. Rex as she was driving by as I was walking along the road, very nice lady. The oaks are falling as I sit here & it's a great day !

Looks like some moisture is moving in later today. There are some rain showers on radar around C-bus, heading NE though but there's a front behind it.

No good shot. Came in on a sprint during the rain. By the time I was turned that way he was walking away into thick stuff. Hit the grunt call and he turned around. Came back nosey but stayed out of anyplace I could shoot. Wanted a perfect shot since it was pouring.
With all those hogs running around that you have pictures of, why would you consider shooting a 130's 8point in mid October?
