I never had these before and because of your post, I tried some this morning! Yep, I'll be going back for more! :smiley_bril:
I knew I couldn't mess around with leaving the ground hamburger in the fridge too long from my doe this week. I finished with the food saver and freezer end of things last night. All total, I now have over 40lbs of deer burger in the freezer from my 2 does this year! I am loving it!
Weather yesterday was amazing! Finished up a leaf cleanup job we always dread. Hauled out a pickup and dump truck heaping full of mulched and vacced leaves. 10 cu yds of mulched leaves on one job. Glad that job is done. . . .for now.
Catching up on TOO and heading out to brunch with my lovely wife! Great Friday morning.

I've kept this story to myself the past few weeks, but figured this is a great place to share it..
Two weeks ago my Uncle had a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital, and the prognosis was not good. Not at all. For several days we were all hoping and praying for the best, yet realistically understanding what was most likely going to happen. Yet miracles happen. And the fact of the matter is that if he would have been anywhere else when the heart attack hit him, this would've been an entirely different type of post. BUT, here is the rest of the story...

Im inching closer to being a home/landowner! Looking good as of now.

Found a youth to take hunting! One of my buddies kids who is 11 or 12 years old.
Really lookin forward to it. Gonna pop up the double bull blind so i can sit with him and get him comfortable with my dads xbow.
Should b alot of fun!
